⚠️ Important Warning
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your profile information and account details
- All events/pujas you have posted
- Your pujari profile and certifications (if applicable)
- Application history and messages
- Uploaded photos and documents
Method 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the Hitham app:
- Open the Hitham app
- Go to Settings (tap your profile icon)
- Scroll down and tap "Account"
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Read the warning and confirm deletion
- Re-authenticate if prompted
- Your account will be deleted immediately
Method 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email:
- Send an email to lokeshbrlokesh@gmail.com
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the following information:
- Your registered email address
- Your registered phone number
- Reason for deletion (optional)
- We will verify your identity and process your request within 7 business days
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
What Happens After Deletion?
- Your account will be permanently deleted
- You will be logged out of all devices
- Your data will be removed from our servers within 30 days
- Some data may be retained in anonymized form for legal compliance
- You can create a new account anytime with the same email/phone
